Welcome to Carnegie Mellon University's Internet Behavior Research Project

Description

This research project is being conducted at Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, United States) to investigate various facets of participants’ Internet behaviors. As part of the project, researchers developed a Chrome extension that collects - with the participants’ knowledge and consent - information from the participants’ browsers, and controls some aspects of the browsing experience. The data collection practices are outlined in the project’s privacy policy page. This extension (and the data it will produce) will only be used for academic research purposes.
